Malleable

Luckily, two of the world’s most precious  and beautiful metals, gold and silver, are highly  malleable (gold is in fact the most malleable metal  on the planet). Webster’s dictionary describes the  word as “capable of being extended or shaped  by beating with a hammer or by the pressure of  rollers”. Because these metals are so malleable,  they have allowed jewellers to create gorgeous, intricate designs for thousands of years.
