At the recent AGTA
Spectra Awards, where
the industry celebrates
and recognizes the art of
lapidary, our good friend
Brian Cook recently won
first prize with his Wheel
of Light Cut.
The GIA in their
quarterly magazine said
“Lapidary artist Brian Cook,
of Tucson-based Nature’s
Geometry, is astonished
that the optical designs he
has experimented with and
refined for more than 25
years have finally come of
age. Appreciation for his
work culminated with a first place
award in this year’s
AGTA Spectrum’s Fashion
Forward category for his
“Wheel of Light” Numinous
pendant, which graces the
cover of this issue”.
