Merchandise Assistant (maternity cover)

Assisting the Acting Merchandise Manager with the planning and execution of new products and events for Live TV, including product and rota administration.

Your duties will include:

Approve new products prior to selling on TV, checking and ensuring accuracy of pricing, descriptions and gemstone information. Update gemstones in line with protocols so that gemstones are accurately described, named and filed in our database. Create and manage embargoes to enable products to be scheduled at the right time and on the correct channel. Assist the Acting Merchandise Manager with the planning and scheduling of new stock, themes and guest shows. Assist with creating events for the sales diary, including ordering props and dressing the set for big events. Create promotional screen bugs and plasma images for use on TV. Edit/Create PowerPoints for gemstones, collections and homewares. Download launch clips using content probe to keep internal R drive up to date. Fill out weekly show schedule, and make urgent changes, to the EPG. (Electronic programme guide Assist with Sales team rota administration including approving holiday, covering shifts and approving hours for payroll. Be available to support the Live TV team when needed, including but not limited to, booking out extra samples for the studio, helping with last minute scheduling, help with any issues that arise.

*Our role is initially for maternity cover but it may then result in being a permanent role*

Working Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week.

Broadcasting Sales Producer x 2

We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity to find two new producers in our Broadcasting Sales environment . Your role will be to work with your team in creating, preparing and executing high quality sale presentations on our Live 24hour Shopping Channel. No previous experience required as all training will be given, although a knowledge of sales or retail is essential.

To make sure all assets are ready to accompany sales presentations. • Heading the gallery for the live show
