How long have you been at Gemporia, and how long have you been a presenter?

“I have had the privilege of working with Gemporia for over seven years now, but I have been presenting for nearly 40 years! Gosh, I’m getting old.”

What is your earliest Gemporia memory?

“Walking through the door and Lynn Jinks being so kind.”

What is your favourite gemstone and why?

“Without a doubt it would have to be Diamond. I never stop being completely mesmerised by the scintillation and fire - it really is my one and only.”

Who do you admire the most and why?

“My producer Hayley - she’s simply incredible.”

What is your favourite place in the world and why?

“Wherever my family are, that’s where I lay my hat!”

What are your guilty pleasures?

“Chocolate and a glass of fizz!”

What was your dream job growing up?

“To be a prima ballerina, but that was never going to happen!”

What advice would you give for choosing a piece of jewellery?

“Choose what you love, and wear it as much as possible.”

What quote/motto do you like to live by?

“As I get older it has to be ‘carpe diem’. Seize the day! Live every day as if it’s your last one on Earth.”
